Details
Each Trio wine is a blend of three different grape varieties, or in the case of the Sauvignon Blanc, a blend of grapes from three distinct vineyards, skilfully transformed into fruity, complex wines. Trio wines have a depth of flavour unlike most at their price point, which makes them ideal for food-matching.
From the attractive blend of 65% Merlot, 20% Shiraz and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, this assemblage produces an expressive deep red wine with soft tannins and great structure. Time spent in French and American oak barrels pronounces its dark fruit, chocolate and tobacco aromas.

A pioneer of the Chilean wine industry, Ignacio Recabarren has great international experience having participated in vintages in California (Tyland Vineyard, Mendocino County) and France (Château Maucaillou, Château Margaux, Château Lafite). He worked for more than two years in New Zealand for Morton Estate, Matua and Cloudy Bay, where he developed a keen interest in white wine production.
