Gala 1 20065 Luigi Bosca

A trio of grape varieties - Malbec, Petit Verdot and Tannat. The grapes are hand selected from the finest areas of Luigi Bosca's vineyards in Vistalba, Carrodilla and Las Compuertas in Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. The grapes are then undergo cold maceration for 48 hours prior to fermentation. Controlled fermentation then occurs at no more than 26C. Maceration then occurs for 4 months after which the wine is aged in new French oak barrles for 14 months. The wine is bottled unfiltered to preserve its aromatic characteristics. The wine is brilliant violet-red in colour with intense aromas of red fruits and delicate hints of vanilla. It is balanced and elegant with a long finish. It has ageing potential for up to 15 years.
